Vince McMahon took the news of Ultimate Warrior's death very badly. The two had been close friends in the WWF boom period, with a passionate shared interest in bodybuilding. That relationship famously soured, but there was an emotional reconciliation in April of this year when Warrior was inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame. It was symbolic of Warrior and McMahon having finally made peace. Tragically, just three days later, Warrior was dead. A sudden heart attack cost the wrestling fraternity one of their very boldest characters. When Vince found out, he was "badly shaken up" according to figure four daily radio. That resulted in Triple H having to break the news and offer leadership to the WWE locker room. The level of Vince's upset was later made clear in WWE's Network's excellent Warrior documentary. Filmed just after Warrior's death, Vince is seen to be very emotional. His eyes are red and he openly sheds tears about his old friend. If there's one thing we learned from this, it's that Vince McMahon really does care for his WWE talent. The Chairman is an intense kind of guy, but he's also a compassionate humanitarian too.
