10 Emotional UFC Moments That Made The Fans Cry

3. Aldo's Locker Room Meltdown

Conor McGregor vs. José Aldo had all the makings of a classic. The rivalry was hot, the trash talk pointed, and in 'Scarface,' the Irishman was finally paired against one of the best in the world. Hype levels were stratospheric, but while the duo did deliver one of the Zuffa era's most memorable fight moments, nobody expected Conor to knock the Featherweight king out in 13 seconds.

The outcome no doubt provoked countless tears in Aldo's native Brazil, his rags to riches story having captured the nation's hearts years prior. McGregor's KO shot was an emotional gut punch in itself, but its heft was nothing compared to the aftermath, with Aldo sobbing into a towel in his corner of the Octagon while the new champion celebrated.

Private footage of Aldo's meltdown leaked after the pay-per-view had gone off the air. It probably shouldn't have ever been made public, but if José's loss didn't get you, there's a strong chance this did. Sat crossed-legged on the floor, Aldo looked inconsolable as his team surrounded him, and while he rebounded with a win over Frankie Edgar, 'Scarface' has never been the same since that night in Las Vegas.
