When Randy Savage left the WWF to join WCW, six months after Hulk Hogan signed with WCW, many wondered where those two would stand now that they were back in the same company again. They had been allies, best friends, tag partners, and hated rivals while they were in the WWF. They started out as allies in WCW, working together to feud with the Three Faces Of Fear, and later, the Alliance To End Hulkamania, which was every bit as stupid as it sounds. Once Hogan turned on WCW to form the nWo, things were jump started all over again with Savage. They battled for the WCW World Title, and they battled for WCW. Fans were getting to relive their childhoods again, only with a twist, as Hogan was now the hated heel and Savage the fan favorite... until Savage joined the nWo, when they were back on the same page again. Their feud in WCW, while fun to watch, never approached the same levels of drama and excitement that their WWF feud did, but we still got to see them squaring off again, seven-plus years after their huge WrestleMania 5 battle. It introduced a new generation of wrestling fans to the magic they had together.
