5. Hell In A Cell Match: The Undertaker vs. Triple H (WrestleMania XXVIII)
The Georgia Dome in Atlanta was the setting for a titanic clash between two industry icons as Undertaker and Triple H battled each other in one of the marquee matches at 2011's WrestleMania XVII. Just one year after The Phenom retired Shawn Michaels, The King of Kings attempted to avenge his friend and make history by ending Undertaker's storied undefeated streak at the Showcase of the Immortals. Though he dominated his opponent in the hotly anticipated bout, he found himself trapped in the Hell's Gate submission hold with no other choice but to tap out. The war took its toll on the Phenom, however, as it was he that was stretchered out of the arena, not his vanquished opponent. Confident that he could finally put an end to the legendary streak, Triple H challenged Undertaker to a rematch at WrestleMania XVIII. This time, however, the contest would be dubbed an "End of an Era" and would be contested inside Hell in a Cell. With Michaels as guest referee, fans were treated to a dramatic and tension-filled contest that saw The Game come close to pinning Undertaker's shoulders to the mat on several occasions. A socking moment occurred when Michaels delivered Sweet Chin Music to the Phenom, then Triple H planted him with the Pedigree for a heart-stopping nearfall. Despite a valiant effort by The Game and a tortured performance by Michaels, the Dead Man was able to keep his streak alive.
