10 Most Epic WWE Smackdown Moments

1. Brock Lesnar And Big Show Break The Ring

The June 12, 2003 edition of Smackdown provided wrestling fans with a moment we're never going to forget. Brock Lesnar was the babyface WWE Champion and Big Show was one of his main heel challengers. The two big men had a number of matches together. Their chemistry was very good because Show worked well as a heel while Lesnar did an awesome job of being a babyface that tried to outsmart his bigger opponent. It's not like that many guys were bigger than Lesnar, but Show was and it worked for them. Their big moment took place when they started brawling towards the turnbuckle. Show was desperate to put Lesnar away any way possible, so he went to the top rope. Show is not a guy that went to the top rope ever. Since he took a while to do what he planned to do, Lesnar cut him off and set him up for one of the biggest moves we've ever seen. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H4GnJvUpsAQ Lesnar set up Show for a superplex. The announcers Michael Cole and Tazz were wondering what was going to happen, but they knew. We all knew. Lesnar gave Show the biggest superplex ever and as they landed in the ring the entire ring collapsed. The reaction of Tazz on commentary was great too: €œHOLY S**T! What the hell!?!?!€ The fans reacted to it in the same way as well. They chanted "holy s**t" immediately and were cheering for about a minute after. It was definitely a genuine cheer and not some manufactured noise that we hear on Smackdown. Both wrestlers did the perfect job of selling it too. They sold it like they were knocked out. It was a planned spot unlike any other. If they continued on with the match from there they would have ruined the moment a bit. Selling it like that was perfect. Back in 2011, WWE did the broken ring spot with Show and Mark Henry at Vengeance 2011. It was a huge spot then too, but not as memorable as the original. When fans think of the best iconic and epic moments in Smackdown history, this is the one that comes to mind the most. It didn't matter if we read about it in the spoilers either. We had to see it to believe it. Then when we saw it we knew right away that we would never forget it. That's for damn sure.
