2015 was a very important year in the career of Timothy Thatcher. After a breakthrough performance against Chris Hero at WrestleMania weekend's WWN Supershow, Thatcher began receiving quite a bit of press. He followed up on that victory with an even greater one in July, beating Drew Galloway for both the EVOLVE and Dragon Gate USA Open the Freedom Gate Championships. Since then, he's been defending both titles with a combination of technical mastery and hard-hitting, do-whatever-it-takes violence. Believe it or not, there's some debate online as to whether Thatcher is actually British. No matter where he's really from, though, he represents Europe well - he's got the look of Wade Barrett, the precision of Cesaro, and the ring generalship and aggression of William Regal. Plus, he's 6'3", 224 pounds, which WWE has undoubtedly noticed. Thatcher was actually one of a number of EVOLVE talents mentioned in a WWE.com article late last year, and he's sure to get a tryout with the company soon.
