All Out 2021 sits as another landmark event in AEW history.

On top of being the first AEW PPV to go down outside of Daily's Place since the start of the pandemic, September 5, 2021 boasted CM Punk's first match in seven years as the 'Best in the World' made his All Elite debut vs. Darby Allin.

And if that surreal return fight wasn't enough for you, this white hot night in Chicago also saw everything from yet another Young Bucks/Lucha Bros. classic - this time inside of a steel cage - to Kenny Omega's AEW World Championship defence against a Christian Cage that had already taken the Impact World Championship off him beforehand.

All that alone was likely enough to make an All Elite fan for life out of just about every single one of the folks who helped break the record for company PPV buys by purchasing this All Out hit.

But in a move that ultimately elevated the show to the level of genuine all-timer, the likes of Ruby Soho, Adam Cole, and Bryan Danielson all opted to shockingly strut into town on the night, too.

Simply put, the summer of 2021 was a vibe. And one that unquestionably helped take AEW to new heights.
