10 Exact Moments We Gave Up On A WWE Wrestler's Push

There are a few moments you could point to as the end point for Mr. Kennedy's push: the time injury cost him his Money in the Bank briefcase, cashed in a week later by Edge, for instance. Or perhaps better still: the time he took himself off Randy Orton's Christmas card list.
But the exact moment we gave up all hope? It has to be when Hornswoggle was revealed as Vince McMahon's long-lost illegitimate son on Raw in mid-2007. This was a spot made for Mr Kennedy, and yet the company favoured a few cheap laughs over the opportunity to finally push him into the main event scene.
If ever there was a sign that he wasn't going to make it all the way, this had to be it - and, with hindsight, he never really recovered.
