1. New World Order

Why They Left WWE: Various reasons.

Hulk Hogan left in 1993 to crack Hollywood and some other projects. Meanwhile, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall had their heads turned by guaranteed money in WCW. They, like Brock Lesnar years later, also walked away in 1996 when they were near/at the top of the card.

The Moment: "This is the New World Order of wrestling, brother!".

That one line from Hulk changed pro wrestling in North America forever. Trash rained down from the stands following Hogan's heel turn, and both Hall and Nash wore huge grins on their faces as they revelled in the moment. All three men must've known right then that leaving the WWF had been for the best.

Nothing was certain before that. Hogan was already two years deep into a mediocre run as a babyface, and there were no guarantees that WCW's braintrust would use the ex-Razor Ramon and Diesel properly. The nWo's creation eased all of those fears within seconds.
