The Moment: WWE contacted Trish and asked if she'd like to sign some autographs during the 'Meet & Greet' festivities before SummerSlam 2019. The event was set to take place in her hometown (Toronto), and that's why the company thought of her at all. It didn't take long before Stratus realised she wanted more.

The Return: Instead of merely writing her name, shaking hands and posing for pictures, Trish asked if WWE would be up for letting her wrestle against Charlotte Flair. In her WWE 24 documentary on the Network, Stratus said that she was doing some media work in Canada when the thought crossed her mind, but she wasn't sure she'd get the chance to make it reality even after asking the company.

Vinnie Mac loved the idea, and he booked the match. Stratus went from throwing a random pitch out there to training for her proper hometown send-off on one of the biggest shows of the year.

No pressure then, eh?
