6. ‘Fake’ Razor Ramon Debuts

Rick Bognar had no chance after this dire debut.

A heel Jim Ross (remember that?) promised to bring "Razor and Diesel" back to the WWF in September 1996. Then, to everyone's amazement, the announcer wheeled out guys cosplaying as Kevin Nash and Scott Hall. Fans, understandably, were miffed at what they were seeing play out before them.

Glenn Jacobs was slightly less-egregious as the ‘Fake’ Diesel, and the coming Kane character also gave him a real chance to right the wrongs of this WCW-bashing experiment, but Bognar? Bognar was f*cked. His Ramon impression was rotten - it was like somebody had ordered Razor from Wish.com.

Rick didn't have the luxury of a masked follow-up that'd build mystique and help him restore his reputation either. No, he's only remembered for doing one of the worst impressionist acts in pro wrestling history. Even the most laid back WWF fan had to be appalled by this, and it killed Bognar's hopes of securing a full-time gig.
