3. Randy Being Offended Over His Move To Commentary
At WrestleMania 7, Savage lost to The Ultimate Warrior in a match where the loser would be forced to retire. According to the rumors, Vince felt that Randy was coming to the end of his career, anyway, and that he didn't have much more to contribute in the ring, so he came up with the idea of moving him to commentary, since he was still such a popular figure. As anybody would react if their boss basically told them that they were washed up, Randy did not take very kindly to the career change. He flipped out, and his relationship with Vince continued to sour. For one reason or another, the move to commentary wasn't a permanent one. A little over eight months later, the Macho Man was back in the ring, and he would actually wrestle pretty regularly from that point up until the time he left the WWF in October 1994.
