10 Famous People You Won't Believe Were Wrestlers

4. Paul Blart: Amateur Wrestler

Kevin James Another great example of an Amateur wrestler who would later enter the acting game, Kevin James is also a stand-up comedian, and appeared alongside big names such as Adam Sandler and Chris Rock in the movie Grown Ups in 2010, but is best known for being the star of the TV show King Of Queens. Back in high school, James was incredibly on the same wrestling team as Mick Foley, who would go on to become one of the biggest stars in the pro wrestling game. In interviews, James has said that the pair were both heavyweights, and wrestled one another on numerous occasions. It's funny to think that the guy who played Paul Blart used to take down Mankind back in high school, that's the kind of script someone out there is just begging to write! Foley himself has reminisced that Kevin James was pretty good at grappling, and could have taken it further had he wanted, but just like Mark Ruffalo, the world of acting came calling, and another path opened up for James. To this day, the guy is still a fan of contact sports, and an avid ringsider at UFC events.
