10 Famous Wrestlers With Terrible Finishers

10. Finn Balor - Coup De Grâce

Finn Balor Vs Tyler Breeze
WWE

In your entire life, have you ever jumped in the air and then landed on something, maybe like the ground for instance? Congrats! You have performed the Coup de Grâce!

Finn Balor is incredibly charismatic, and athletic, and mysterious and yet...he has a finishing move that anyone over the age of three could perform.

Perhaps the day Balor went to wrestling school to pick his finishing move, he arrived late and all the good top rope ones were taken. The 450 Splash, The Shooting Star Press and the Swanton Bomb were crossed off the list. All Finn had left was a move where he’d have to jump, and then land, right on someone's gut.

Low Ki has used this finisher as well, and he’s also an incredibly talented individual. It seems the move should be given to the least talented person on the roster, someone that doesn't possess any coordination. The Great Khali would have had a killer Coup de Grâce, for example.

It doesn't matter if you dress up the double foot stomp with a fancy name like the Coup de Grâce, we still know what it is at its core, and we're not buying it!

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
