8. MVP - The Playmaker

WWE keeps trying to re-gift this move from one wrestler to the next, but it’s never going to work! If WWE ever offers it to you, politely decline.

The Playmaker is a bad move no matter who has it, or what it’s called. It’s just way too awkward to set up, and it doesn’t look good even when it's executed flawlessly.

MVP is the most prominent wrestler of the past few years to attempt the move on a full-time basis, and he probably should have kept searching for a different finisher. He has to stand and hop on one leg for a bit to get in place, while also putting his other leg around his opponent’s neck. What could go wrong?

Well, all his opponent would have to do is move, in any direction really, left, right, up, down, whatever works, and he’d be unable make the play with the finisher.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
