10 Famous Wrestling Conspiracy Theories
4. Vince McMahon Is An Actor
Obviously, Vince McMahon is an actor to some extent. He isn't actually that power-crazed, neither would he really want to go one-on-one with his daughter in an I Quit match, nor bring his comatose wife to the ring to watch him make out with Trish Stratus.
But some fans go further than that. They believe the Vince McMahon we see on our screens isn't Vince McMahon at all, but merely an actor the real Vince McMahon has hired to play his on-screen alter-ego, thereby giving him - along with his kids, who are presumably also actors - the chance to lead a normal life in the background.
It's not exactly impossible, to be fair: how many super-successful businessmen can honestly claim to have the same showmanship and charisma as Vince McMahon? Jason Jordan isn't really Kurt Angle's son, neither were Undertaker and Kane related, so why not this?
What undermines the theory is that there is a little bit of footage of Vince from way-back-when - before he was cast in the role of commentator or super-villain - which shows it's the same man we see today (unless they tied this actor guy to an exclusive 40-year-contract at some point in the '70s).
