That's right folks, it's the "Once In A Lifetime" match (that actually happened two years in succession) between John Cena and The Rock! How exciting was it when they announced the main event of WrestleMania a whole year before the event itself? Well, not really exciting at all. And perhaps unsurprisingly, both Cena and The Rock failed to deliver when it really mattered, producing one of the most disappointing main events in WWE history. In truth, the second match between the two was even worse, but it was their tussle at WrestleMania 28 that really was billed as the big one. The Rock did a decent enough job of keeping up with Cena in patches, but for the most part it looked like he was chasing Cena around the ring. Cena did little to contribute to the contest, either. Perhaps it was too optimistic to expect Cena to break out of his usual repertoire of moves in the biggest match of his entire career, but it was the same old garbage. Perhaps the ending saved it to a certain extent, with few expecting that John Cena would lose against The Rock. But as we all know, he avenged that defeat a year later. Both matches were forgettable, but the hype around this one made it worse to watch.
