10 Fantastic WrestleMania Matches You Totally Forgot

8. The Steiner Brothers v The Headshrinkers - WrestleMania IX

WrestleMania IX is often pointed to as the worst WrestleMania in the history of the event, and it€™s hard to pick out anything worthwhile from such a shambles of an event. Not only does it feature double Doinks, Jim Ross in a toga and the dreadful Undertaker v Giant Gonzalez match, but it has the disastrous ending where somehow Bret Hart v Yokozuna ends with Hulk Hogan walking out at the WWF Champion. It€™s understandable why no-one would want to go back to check out WrestleMania IX but nestled in there is a great tag-team match between The Steiner Bros and The Headshrinkers. The Steiners never quite got their due in WWF the way they did in WCW and Japan, but they€™re true innovators of tag-team wrestling that many often overlook. The Headshrinkers, on the other hand, are way better than their outdated gimmick might suggest, and together the two put on a heck of a show. It€™s one of the best tag-team matches to ever occur at a WrestleMania, and worth watching alone for the moment when Rick Steiner reverses a Doomsday Device attempt into a powerslam, which is so impressive, it just has to be seen to be believed.
