10 Fantasy Wrestling Matches That Never Happened

6. The Dudley Boyz vs. The Road Warriors - Chicago/Dudleyville Street Fight

Road Warriors Legion Of Doom Dudley Boys Boyz Dudleys They are quite simply the two most successful tag teams in professional wrestling history. The Dudley Boyz dominated two separate promotions en route to championship gold and the Road Warriors may have been the most feared tag team in professional wrestling history. The Road Warriors, Hawk and Animal, broke the mold when it came to tag wrestlers. Looking like massive bodybuilders, Hawk and Animal quickly won over the crowd in Georgia and the NWA, despite being heels, due to their unbelievable look and fact that they never sold...anything. The Road Warriors dominated the tag team scene for so long that no one was perceived as a threat to their spot. When "Iron Man" by Black Sabbath played in the arena, fasn went so wild that any loud crowd reaction was then measured against a "Road Warrior pop". All in all, the Road Warriors won over 20 world titles as a team and were the only team to win the WWF, NWA, and AWA tag titles, becoming more successful than any team ever before. The Dudley Boyz started as a sideshow comedy act in ECW but quickly became one of their top attractions thanks to the work of Bubba Ray Dudley (Bully Ray) and D-Von. The two became some of the biggest stars in the company and moved to the WWF shortly thereafter. Thanks to their table gimmick and a penchant for powerbombing women, the Dudleyz became accepted members of the roster. However, it was a three-way battle with the Hardys and Edge and Christian in a series of TLC matches that turned all six men into bona fide superstars. As a team, they are 23-time tag champions and are the only team to win the WWE, WCW, ECW, IWGP, NWA, and TNA titles. They are the most successful team, by far, in the modern era. The good thing about booking a match between these two teams is that they are both brawling tag teams. The Dudleys and Road Warriors both thrived when rules were removed and matches turned into fights. Like the crazy brawls of the 1980s and the insanity of the ECW arena, this match would allow each team to beat the other until all four men were bloodied and battered. This street fight would spill all over the arena and fans would have a hard time keeping up with all of the action.
