No, not "fight" as in a match in-ring. John Cena was expected to scrap with R-Truth behind the curtain in an actual shoot fight. In fact, many on the WWE roster in 2008 were left disappointed when Truth and Cena didn't come to blows, but why? Why did so many reckon they'd throw punches?

Truth told Premier Live TV last year that he'd recorded some diss tracks rapping about John before returning to WWE in '08. They were fairly tame, but then Konnan exacerbated things by claiming both had got into a shoving match at the airport. That didn't actually happen.

Cena and Truth buried any rumoured beef quickly. John asked, "We're not gonna have any problems, are we?", then the pair shook hands and hugged it out when Truth said no. That deflated many in the locker room, 'cause they'd fancied seeing what would happen if the pair got fiery.

It was never going to happen.
