7. The Rock Upsets Kevin Nash

In the aftermath of WrestleMania X-8, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall were furious with Hulk Hogan for giving into the rush of adulation. The nWo was there to "kill" the WWF; in Toronto, Hogan fell back in love with it.

Nash was also furious with the Rock for real.

Despite himself insulting his colleagues off-script - as "vanilla midgets," most infamously - he was presumably too used to wielding this power himself, and when the shoe was on the other foot, it was him who got brained with the prosthetic. The Rock improvised a line at Nash's expense while also mocking Nash's old Diesel taunt. He called him 'Big Daddy Bitch". Very harmless, really - hardly a Billy Gunn-tier burial - but Nash hated it nonetheless.

And thus began a one-sided and decidedly unpleasant grudge feud. In a less "fascinating" and more "ugly" fact, Nash spent a lot of time on the old shoot interview circuit intimating that Rock was gay, as if that were a bad thing, because he got divorced and wasn't pictured smashing everything in sight. All because of one worked insult.

To his credit, Nash has since had a word with himself and later directly apologised to the Rock for being a "d*ck".
