WWE added a women’s Rumble in 2018, so this wouldn’t have been possible beforehand. However, it’s still something that Nia Jax was the first person to work two Rumbles on the same card. Women like Chyna and Beth Phoenix had pushed the women's game forward before her, but Jax doubled down.

She entered as #29 in the women’s match and lasted 11:59. During that run, Nia tossed Io Shirai (IYO SKY), Bayley and Natalya out. Later the same night, Jax also worked the men’s Rumble by attacking #30 R-Truth and replacing him. She'd then eliminate Mustafa Ali during a brief 3:09 performance.

This made company history.

Nobody else had ever appeared in two Royal Rumble matches on the same show. Sure, it wasn't exactly possible until 2018, but that shouldn't take away from Nia's achievement. WWE didn't have to book her in both matches, after all. They fancied giving Jax this nod, and why not?
