10 Fascinating Masked 'Mystery' Wrestlers

10. Calgary Kid (The Miz)

Deep in the dark ages of Raw€™s guest host era, The Miz was a rising young heel who was getting a good deal of mileage out of challenging John Cena to matches while Big Match John was out with an injury. Thanks to the ruling of Jeremy Piven, Miz was beaten by a returning Cena and banned from Raw. The next week, WWE moved on, hosting a contract-on-a-pole match between Eugene and the masked Calgary Kid, hoping to fill the Miz-shaped hole in their roster... Wearing a hockey jersey, and with maple leaves plastered on his knee pads and mask, one might assume the Kid was a Lance Storm student or even one of the less impressive Hart children. That is, until ol€™ CK dispatched Eugene with a Skull-Crushing Finale and removed his maple-amblazoned mask to reveal - gasp! - Miz. The reaction was great, but looking back and watching Miz with real upward career momentum is like watching Undertaker as €œMean€ Mark Callous. It just seems wrong, you know?
