It must be an amazing feeling to see your character influencing children, and Becky Lynch got a chance to experience that during this shocking moment on Raw.
On an episode of Monday Night Raw in May 2019, Sami Zayn took part in a segment that saw him sitting in a chair and answering questions from the crowd. If you need your memory jogged, it was the infamous one where he name-dropped AEW. Besides mentioning the competition, he also scored a memorable moment after having an altercation with a child.
This young girl, named Izzy, questioned him on whether he missed "Ginger Snaps," the makeshift tag team he formed with Lynch during the Mixed Match Challenge. After asking if she meant Becky Lynch, young Izzy replied, "Duh," leading Zayn to scold her and her parents.
Lynch addressed this on an episode of The Moment with Brian Koppelman, calling her "My girl!" She claimed to love the moment and questioned whether the child (who was wearing a Becky Two Belts T-shirt) was emanating her character or simply being herself.
The Lass Kicker was so impressed that she searched for Izzy after the show and gifted her with a new T-shirt, commending her for speaking her mind and not taking "any crap from a WWE Superstar."
