3. He Once Forced A Writer To Mock Triple H To His Face
Brian Gewirtz is among the most decorated of the WWE creative writing alumni, as he is one of the longest-tenured head writers in WWE history. He also published a book about his experiences named There's Just One Problem, and boy, did it come with some stories. One such tale involves The Rock, Triple H, and some light betrayal.
Gewirtz recounts in the book a time when he helped The Rock work on a promo mocking the way Triple H talks. He apparently did an impression of H, making fun of the way he adds an "uhh" at the end of his sentences. Johnson was incredibly amused by this, so much so that he made the writer perform the impression in front of Vince McMahon and all of DX.
The writer explained that Triple H approved the promo, claiming it "sounds good." But, he also pointed out that The Game looked very unamused by the matter. The Rock didn't care and went ahead to do the promo anyway, creating a hilarious moment that humbled the King of Kings.
Of course, making fun of the massive wrestler was probably a little scarier for Gewirtz than it was for Johnson.
