Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair became the first black women to headline WrestleMania and the first women to headline the 'Show Of Shows' in a singles match, and proudly wore the responsibility of all of that on their faces as the match began.

The pair had no reason to fight back tears or suppress the smiles that came with the announcements of their names, and didn't stand a chance of doing so as the audience came more and more unglued in the magic of the moment. It was history being made and lived and it was the defining shot of 2021's unique offering.

It was, for Bianca Belair, another WWE milestone achieved too.

Matching only Brock Lesnar from the show's illustrious history, 'The EST' headlined the card at her first attempt. Working a match on the show for the very first time, Belair's formal main roster call-up came one year earlier but only in a supporting role. When the bell rang, she took the 'Next Big Thing's mantle, and has made stadium bangers one of her identifiers ever since.
