This list in particular has made several notes of the numerous ongoing changes in WWE's roster. For further proof of such changes, one only needs to see how many 1993 Rumble match entrants weren't there when the calendar turned to 1994.

Of the 30 entrants, 18 would exit at some point by the end of 1993: Ric Flair, Papa Shango, Ted Dibiase, The Nasty Boys, The Natural Disasters, Max Moon, Tenryu, Mr. Perfect, Skinner, Koko B. Ware, The Berzerker, Terry Taylor, Damien Demento, Carlos Colon, Tito Santana, and Repo Man.

The 12 survivors that remained at year's end included Bob Backlund, Virgil (for house shows), Jerry Lawler (on a leave of absence due to legal issues), The Headshrinkers, The Undertaker, Irwin R. Schyster, Tatanka, Rick Martel, Yokozuna, Owen Hart, and Macho Man Randy Savage. Times were certainly changing, and not for the better.
