10 Fascinating WWE SummerSlam 1998 Facts
8. The Insane Clown Posse's Performance Is Edited Off Of WWE Network
Though their involvement in professional wrestling is best defined by their irreverent JCW promotion, Shaggy 2 Dope and Violent J had cups of coffee at different times with WWE, WCW, ECW, and TNA.
The face-painted rappers' big claim to fame under the WWE umbrella was recording a theme song for The Human Oddities stable, which they played live at the Garden on SummerSlam night. There's no evidence of this to be found on WWE Network, however. The performance was edited off, despite having been included in previous releases of the event.
It's not clear what the issue is that prevents WWE from airing the Posse's duet, when you can find the likes of Motorhead and Limp Bizkit on past WWE airings. Perhaps it has something to do with ICP's exit in 1998, stemming from WWE never coming through on airing a Posse-related commercial after weeks of promising the duo.
