Bret Hart Diesel Survivor Series 95

On November 19, 1995, Diesel sent Bret Hart careening off of the ring apron, and smashing through the Spanish commentary table. The move drew an audible reaction of shock, screams, and gasps from the fans in Landover. Even ECW fans were surprised to see such a stunt on WWE programming.

It wasn't the first broken table in WWE history (Harley Race in 1988 might have 'dibs' on that), but it was the first time the Spanish commentary table was victimized. That's why the crowd reacted the way that they did: these were uncharted waters that WWE was sailing into.

In the 22 years since, the move has become overly cliche. People wonder, tongue-in-cheek, if those watching the Spanish feed have ever gotten to actually see a full pay-per-view, due to so much perpetual destruction to the Spanish broadcast area. At least in 1995, it was a fresh idea.
