10 Fascinating WWE Survivor Series 2004 Facts

8. Spike Dudley Claimed To Not Remember His Match - Less Than A Year Later

Little Spike Dudley played an unlikely heel after turning in the summer of 2004, netting the Cruiserweight Championship while ordering Bubba Ray and D-Von around as his immovable heavies. One of the more high-profile matches during his reign was a four-way tussle at Survivor Series against Rey Mysterio, Billy Kidman, and Chavo Guerrero, with the belt on the line.

In September 2005, a few months after his release from WWE, the real-life Matt Hyson recorded a shoot interview, in which he at times acted dismissive and hostile toward the interviewer. One of the more curious parts of the interview was when he was asked about the Survivor Series match.

Hyson claimed to not remember the match, and actually denied that it even happened. Perhaps he was just messing with an interviewer that he was clearly not enamored with, but if Hyson's recollection was legitimate, then it says a lot about how forgettable undercard feuds could possibly be.
