4. Ahmed Johnson, Road Warrior Animal Had An Issue Over Ahmed's Shoulder Pads
Johnson teamed with The Legion of Doom for what turned out to be a wild Chicago Street Fight with the Nation of Domination, delivering everything you'd see in a vintage ECW brawl, sans the blood. In a sign of team unity, Ahmed wore a set of spiked shoulder pads just like LOD's before entering the fray.
Some time after the fact, Animal would claim in a shoot interview that Ahmed had apparently stolen the shoulder pads after the show. Johnson contended years later in a separate shoot interview that Hawk had bestowed the pads upon him as a gift, out of mutual respect. Johnson, after cursing and dismissing Animal to the interviewer, also added that he donated the shoulder pads after Hawk's death to the Dallas Sportatorium for display purposes.
