Just about every devoted wrestling fan between the ages of 26 and 53 today has fond memories of this classic belt (yes, Vince, it's a belt). Before its design served as the fragmented template of the WWE Hardcore Championship later in 1998, the winged eagle design was WWE's symbol of excellence for a full decade. Austin was the last man to win it, a shade over ten years after Macho Man Randy Savage became the first to capture it.

To this day, it remains perhaps the most beloved design for a WWE Championship ever, easily toppling Cena's spinner belt, the modern-day WWE logo plate, and even Austin's custom Smoking Skull belt. When you see the winged eagle strap, it instantly transports you back to simpler times.
