Wrestling's foremost statistician might be Chris Harrington, a man entrusted by Dave Meltzer and The Wrestling Observer to provide incredible facts and numbers, particularly on the business end of wrestling (author's note: Mr. Harrington has also patiently helped me with a number of my Fighting Spirit Magazine features, with his incredible clarity).

Following WrestleMania 26, Harrington took the liberty of adding up the match times of various WrestleMania performers, and revealed that the now-retired Michaels was the first man to break the 300-minute mark. "The Heartbreak Kid" totaled 301 and a half minutes across his 17 WrestleMania matches, with one notably running 62 minutes (that would be the Iron Man match, of course).

Of Michaels' 17 WrestleMania matches, 15 went beyond 10 minutes (all but his first two), 10 of them went beyond 20 minutes, and a pair went past 30. In more ways than one, Shawn Michaels was truly, "Mr. WrestleMania".
