5. Lesnar Had To Carry The Match After The Undertaker Was Concussed
At some point early on in the infamous battle, Undertaker sustained a serious head injury. It's not exactly clear when it occurs, but many believe it was outside the ring when Lesnar performed a single-leg takedown, and The Undertaker's head clearly smacks the floor.
As the veteran, The Undertaker would usually call the match, but the head injury left him foggy. Afterward, The Undertaker barely had any recollection of what had gone on, but had the wherewithal to know not to kick out after the fatal F5.
With Undertaker compromised, Lesnar had to take the lead, guiding The The Undertaker through what was a very slow and limp match in many respects. The Undertaker's struggle to get through certain sequences (namely the German suplexes) gave an indication as to how hurt he was, and how Lesnar was clearly trying to take it easier on him.
