It's extremely rare for a WrestleMania to go without at least one match spanning 20-plus minutes. WrestleMania 31 proved to be an exception, as six of the seven main-card matches ranged between 13 and 19 minutes. So while there were no quick matches on the night, there weren't any of truly epic length, either.

The Brock Lesnar/Roman Reigns WWE Championship match (with Seth Rollins' cash-in) lasted just under 17 minutes, and while it was still pretty damn incredible for its middle-length, the original plan was for it to go much longer.

The segment with Rock, Rousey, and The Authority lasted 24 minutes, necessitating some trimming to the final two matches. While Undertaker and Wyatt's match was a strong candidate (due to Taker's age and Wyatt's ailment), it was decided to slice into Lesnar/Reigns. The hard-hitting nature of their main event meant they'd be better off spending ten less minutes mauling each other.
