In the opening match of the main show, Seth Rollins defeated Finn Balor and The Miz to become the WWE Intercontinental Champion for the first time in his career. The match was fantastic, as the three men managed to take the tired triple threat formula and create something worthy of its vaunted status. One of the best WrestleMania openers in history? Sure, it wasn't quite Bret Hart vs. Owen Hart, but come on, it had The Miz in it.

In winning the (theoretically) prestigious championship, Seth Rollins joined a couple of elite clubs. His Shield brethren will be mentioned in time, but Rollins IC title win meant he joined Daniel Bryan and Bret Hart in the list of men who have won both the Intercontinental and WWE Championships on the Grandest Stage of Them All. Not bad company, right? The best wrestler of a generation and The Best There Is, The Best There Was, The Best There Ever Will Be. It doesn't get much better than that.

The relative prestigiousness of the Intercontinental Championship is a conversation almost as old as time, but there is something about that old white design that makes it iconic in the right hands. It is hard to argue against more 'right' hands than Rollins, Bryan and Bret.
