9. The Rock Did Not Win Any WrestleMania Main Events Until WrestleMania 28

This one's hard to fathom. Rock was 39 years old, a decade removed from his days as a full-time wrestling icon, before he got to win the final match of a WrestleMania. As a side note, Rock has never won the WWE Championship at WrestleMania, nor has he ever successfully defended it. Rock would main event Manias 15 through 17, losing to Austin twice, and Triple H in a fatal four way. It wasn't until his "Once in a Lifetime" battle with John Cena that he finally closed the night as the winner. For what it's worth, Rock's the only man that has pinned Cena, Steve Austin, and Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania, so there is that. The latter two victories, however, were pre-main event.
