10 Fastest WWE Title Changes Ever
6. Batista's War Path
At Elimination Chamber 2010, Batista gave us another timely reminder that there is no better WWE spot to be in than the pocket of Vince McMahon.
After helping the WWE chairman beat up Bret Hart a few weeks earlier on Raw, The Animal was awarded a shot at the WWE Championship. His opponent? John Cena, who had just won the thing after a gruelling half-an-hour match against five of the best wrestlers in the company.
This turned out to be a challenge too great for even for Big Match John, who took a spear and a Batista Bomb before getting pinned one, two, three in the middle of the ring. His title reign - the eighth of his career - officially clocked in at just three and a half minutes.
At the time, there were one or two fans complaining about the prospect of seeing Batista and Cena, the two breakout stars of the Ruthless Aggression Era, go at it again on the Grandest Stage of Them All - but, to be fair, it was a pretty decent match, with Big Dave playing the role of hacked-off heel to a tee.
