10 Feuds That Must Happen Before WWE WrestleMania 33

1. Chris Jericho Vs. Kevin Owens

The end is nigh for Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens’ friendship. The duo are endlessly entertaining together, and their alliance has played a huge role in Jericho’s late-career surge, but the seeds of tension have already been sown. The allure of the Universal Championship has become too much for Y2J, and he and his best friend look set to collide.

Their story isn’t even close to running its course yet, and with fans still interested in the act, WWE are likely pulling the trigger on their break-up a little too soon. That said, the List of Jericho has been a huge hit, and Jericho’s new set of catchphrases have won him more popularity than he’s experienced in years. He’s pretty much a de facto babyface at this point, and he’d be a great opponent for Owens.

Assuming KO retains his title at Hell in a Cell, Jericho is a logical next opponent. The feud would have the crowd’s attention from day one, and the promo battles would be the stuff of legend. History suggests that Fozzy will soon come calling, and Jericho will once again take temporary leave from WWE: what better way to send him off than with a strong Universal Title program, even if he loses?
