10 Feuds That Must Happen Before WWE WrestleMania 33

8. Bayley Vs. Nia Jax

After weeks of jobber domination, Nia Jax has quietly disappeared from Raw. The squash matches had ran out of steam, and while they were a good way to get her through the door, they’ve lost all effectiveness.

The same happened with Braun Strowman, and after a couple of handicap matches, WWE’s solution was to throw Sami Zayn in his way. Now, they must find something similar for Jax, who isn’t going to improve without quality opposition.

Enter Bayley. The former NXT Women’s Champion is a little preoccupied with Dana Brooke at the moment, but there’s little for her to do afterwards. Raw’s women’s division is incredibly top-heavy, and it doesn’t look like Bayley’s going to be featured in any title stories any time soon. Her and Nia should both be available after Hell in a Cell, and it’s a logical way to go.

Bayley and Nia’s NXT matches weren’t particularly special, but they were the best of Jax’s career. She’s still learning the ins and outs of her monster heel act, but Bayley is the most natural babyface on the women’s roster, and a perfect contrast. Nia needs work, yes, but she’s already disposed of Alicia Fox, and Bayley represents a logical step up. Let her dominate the Hugger for a few months before Bayley eventually overcomes the bully, and springboards back into title contention.
