10 Feuds WWE Needs To Book After WrestleMania 34
9. The Shield Vs. Bálor Club
The Shield reunion did not quite go the way WWE officials had hoped, thanks to Roman Reigns' battle with the mumps and Dean Ambrose's triceps tear, but there is still plenty of opportunities to make the most of The Hounds of Justice's reunion thanks, in large part, to the introduction of Bálor Club.
Finn Bálor, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows have history dating back to their time together in New Japan Pro Wrestling and considering the lackluster creative that went into their characters in 2017, fans champed at the bit to see them back and reunited for the sake of kicking ass and raising hell.
They are back together, yes, but the rest is yet to come.
Programming The Shield against Bálor Club would instantly elevate the stars of Bálor, Anderson and Gallows. If the trio was allowed to score a win over the legendary faction, it would earn them credibility with an audience that may not fully comprehend what they meant to NJPW during their stint there.
Bálor and Roman Reigns already have a low-key rivalry, trading wins on episodes of Raw dating back to the summer of 2016. The Irishman has defeated Seth Rollins, most notably at SummerSlam to become the first universal championship. Still, the six men involved have not worked with each other enough for their matches to become overexposed or stale and the result will be greater excitement to see them work together whenever The Lunatic Fringe manages to recover from his injury and get back on TV.
