10 Feuds WWE Needs To Book After WrestleMania 34
2. Chris Jericho Vs. Elias
During the historic Raw 25 telecast, the WWE Universe was momentarily electrified by a brief confrontation between the company's sinister songster, Elias, and bonafide rock star Chris Jericho.
The future Hall of Famer added The Drifter to The List of Jericho, drawing a look of disgust from Elias and a huge ovation from fans.
The segment was only a minute or so long but the reception to it was strong enough that it is worth exploring.
A program that welcomes Jericho back into the fold, be it immediately after WrestleMania or sometime later in 2018, and sees him confronted by the increasingly prolific Elias is one that could spark energy in the Raw midcard and maybe even elevate The Drifter to the main event scene.
Furthermore, the potential for chemistry between the performers is reason enough to get excited about a prospective showdown.
Elias' straight man versus Jericho's charismatic showman is a dynamic that would work while Y2J's undeniable in-ring acumen would help elevate Elias' game to the level it must get to if he is to be taken seriously as a potential main event attraction.
