10 Fighters Who Were Banished From UFC
6. Diego Brandao
Bet you didn't expect to see an episode involving a UFC fighter pistol-whipping a man outside an Albuquerque strip club on this list, did you?
Yet, here we are.
The Ultimate Fighter: Team Bisping Vs. Team Miller winner, Diego Brandao, had the world at his feet coming off the back of his success on the show, but followed up his finale victory over Dennis Bermudez with a loss against Darren Elkins at UFC 146.
He soon got back on track with wins over Joey Gambino, Pablo Garza and Daniel Pineda, before falling to two of UFC's top pound-for-pound talents in Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor.
This up and down UFC career would come to a spluttering end in April 2016, when Brandao was charged with four felonies. One of these involved assault with great bodily harm, with his other three attacks coming whilst handling a deadly weapon. This entire altercation came off the back of Brandao being asked to leave a strip club, after having a disagreement with the DJ.
Brandao would hit a bouncer in an attempt to regain entry into the club, before leaving and returning with a gun. He proceeded to point the weapon at the club's patron and then went on to smack a bar employee with it for good measure.
Inevitably, he was released from the company a few weeks after the incident and was last seen losing to Marcin Held via decision at the ACA 96 event in Poland earlier this year.
