Should Fight: Aljamain Sterling
This one is a no brainer. Sterling stamped his title shot with his quick win over Cory Sandhagen to get the nod from everyone he was ready to fight for the championship.
Despite Marlon Moraes being the number one contender, he was finished in his own shot at the bantamweight crown and in many eyes lost to the man Petr Yan just crushed at UFC 251, Jose Aldo, in his last fight.
If Sterling beats Yan, it's possible Moraes will be given the next shot due to him owning a KO victory over 'Funk Master', but he'll need a fight in between that time to prove to everyone he is worthy.
Sterling and Yan should have been squaring off against one another at the debut of Fight Island on Saturday, but Aldo managed to slip in instead. Petr has looked nothing less than exceptional in his UFC run and Sterling is a tantalizing match-up for the new champion.
It's going to be a fantastic fight when they finally meet.
