10 First AEW Wrestlers To Win The Triple Crown

7. Jon Moxley

The second AEW World Heavyweight Champion came within spitting distance of adding a second prize to his collection at Double Or Nothing 2021 when a partnership with Eddie Kingston almost yielded tag team gold.

That night, the duo were unsuccessful against The Young Bucks, but it presented the vision of a Mox that made as much sense stewarding another division as it did when he was on top of the wrestling world during the actual one's collapse.

He's since moved forward into a partnership with Bryan Danielson that seems destined to strike gold sooner rather than later. They're assembling a hard lads group with William Regal and cracking skulls in doubles matches for the sheer f*cking fun of it. How can that possibly not end in them winning the tag belts and keeping them as long as they want?

A perennial ratings and pay-per-view draw, Mox is a dream utility player who just happens to be a force of nature with the bit between his teeth. There's an abandoned heel turn that might one day be revisited too, and the TNT strap will always need villains to keep it warm.
