10 First AEW Wrestlers To Win The Triple Crown

4. Darby Allin

Darby Allin's TNT Championship reign was as much about glimpsing what the sight of him with gold would look like when he's made it to the very top of All Elite Wrestling.

There's a risk with a character like his that titles become of fluffy inconvenience in comparison to beating the sh*t out of himself and others in violent rippers, but every wrestler should be wrestling for the gaudy gold at the end and even Allin had to taste a version of the good life to drive at least one of his motivations as a burgeoning megastar.

Interestingly, AEW have taken his loner aesthetic and subverted it - with Sting, CM Punk and The Hardys to name just four, the third ever TNT Champion has ample options for winning tag (or should it ever exist, trios) gold.

The World Heavyweight Championship is a less complex proposition. It's an inevitability - AEW canonised the Four Pillars to make evident what they'd been doing constantly since the company formed. It may take time for the quartet to make it to that promised land, but they all will, Allin included.
