The win that inspired a movement.

Well, for a few weeks anyway.

When Chris Jericho's opponent for WrestleMania 29 was revealed to be the dancing sensation, Fandango, a few eyebrows were raised. Feuds have begun over some fairly ridiculous disputes over the years; now we had instigation due to a mispronunciation of a performer's name.

Scrapping in a short and sweet affair, the two put on a pleasant show and Fandango played the role of weasel heel as if he'd been doing it on the main roster for years. It looked as if he was to taste defeat in his main roster debut match when Jericho began to transition into the Walls of Jericho, only for Fandango to spot a 'tweak' in the veteran's knee and successfully tangle Y2J in a cradle for the pin.

A truly unexpected win, yet the best was still to come.

On Raw, the night after 'Mania, the crowd hijacked the show with a sing-a-long version of Fandango's theme music, accompanied by a jovial dance routine. The song caught fire, and even placed as high as #11 on the iTunes UK chart.

Fandango-ing was eventual stifled by WWE management (if it isn't their idea, they don't tend to be encouraging) but never forget the seismic popularity that a man - who danced to the ring - managed to garner due to a fluke victory on the Grandest Stage.
