When recalling 'Taker's greatest matches of all time, the one non-WrestleMania (and non-Shawn Michaels) offering that tends to appear in a lot of top fives is his World Title match with Kurt Angle from No Way Out 2006. What people tend to forget, however, is the fact that the pair managed to recreate this magic not two weeks later on an episode of Friday Night SmackDown.

Building upon what they had learned about each other, this rematch told a story of how each man attempted to one-up their opponent while simultaneously avoiding falling into the same pitfalls they did before. This ultimately added an extra layer of drama that their initial offering didn't have and, following the uncertain finish of No Way Out, it went a long way to suggest that The Undertaker was destined for the gold. And he would have pulled it off it weren't for the baffling interference from Mark Henry.

A stunning sequence of submissions, reversals, finishers and recurring tests of fortitude, this is undoubtedly one of 'The Phenom's greatest ever matches - and perhaps his all-time greatest to take place on network TV. And this highly underappreciated gem deserves to live on in history alongside his more famous offerings.

Oh to think we could have had this main-eventing WrestleMania 22...
