10 Forgotten Finishers From Well-Known WWE Superstars

8. Kane - Claw Hold

Dean Ambrose Original Dirty Deeds
WWE Network

When Kane returned to WWE in 2011 after a six-month absence, The Devil's Favourite Demon was more demonic than he had been in years. With a new mask, new theme and sadistic new attitude, this Kane wanted the WWE Universe to embrace the hate. However, this new attitude came with a new finisher — a devastating claw-like submission hold.

He debuted the manoeuvre the week after his return when he engulfed the lower half of John Cena's face with his gloved hand, briefly suffocating him. The move was never officially named and it was dropped almost immediately following his rivalry with Cena. It was nice to see Kane changing up his move-set so late into his career, so it's unfortunate that he abruptly stopped using this hold.
