10 Forgotten Finishers From Well-Known WWE Superstars

4. Shawn Michaels - Teardrop Suplex

Shawn Michaels and Sweet Chin Music just go hand-in-hand. It's impossible to imagine one without the other as the finisher has become so synoymous with the Heartbreak Kid. While the iconic Superkick was part of his arsenal for decades, it wasn't always his primary finishing move and was in fact, more of a set up for the final blow.

After incapacitating his opponents, Michaels would ultimately put them away with a Teardrop Suplex. Like everything else he set his mind to, he performed the move very well, but it just didn't have the same oomph as its successor. Michaels was all about charisma and there was just something about this move that was lacking it.

Looking back on it, it was definitely the right choice to switch finisher because the Teardrop Suplex may not have ended up topping "greatest finishing move" lists like the Sweet Chin Music usually does.
